COPYRIGHT NOTICE Although this CD from the "Shanghai 30's & 40's Discontinued Famous Hits's Famous Hits" album series was compiled using sound recordings released over 50 years ago, the versions of the sound recordings contained in this CD enjoy copyright protection on account of the significant investments of skill, effort, labour and the use of state-of-the art restoration technology in re-mastering these original sound recordings. The new sound recordings contained in this CD are very different from the old recordings and are effectively new “master” recordings. Under Singapore’s Copyright Act and corresponding legislation in other countries, the sound recordings in this CD enjoy independent copyright protection for a period of 70 years. Moreover, these sound recordings will also enjoy protection in other signatory states to various international copyright treaties. All of the copyright in the re-mastered sound recordings in this series (excluding the lyrics and musical works comprised therein) vests in me, Lee Leng Kok, and I reserve all rights to take action against any companies or organizations for any violation of my rights in the sound recordings contained in this CD.
